My everlasting model crush, Abbey Lee Kershaw. I didn't realize she was this thin though but she's still gorgeous! Of course, back in 2004, when she won Australia's Girlfriend magazine modeling competition and I was still an avid reader of said magazine, there was no way we could possibly foreseen that she will be as successful as she is today. Or that I would turn to like her editorials.
How things change in a matter of years.
Damn, going into reminiscing mode again. This kept on happening after graduating high school... A side effect of crossing the age of eighteen and never to return again?
Hmm...
This past few weeks has been a blur. I've finally managed to post up my fan-fiction that I've been procrastinating for a whole damn year, relish the joy of online shopping to the point that I've gotten carried away by a couple of hundred ringgit (ouch!), watch so many midnight movie screenings I developed panda eyes and land a job that pays me to literally go online for the whole day (it is more tiring than it sounds!).
I do find it ironic that despite working in a bookstore (or rather, it's more of a rent a book store type), I've yet to abuse my position aka read the books for free. Possibly because I've gotten sick of books. The whole time I was striving to improve my writing skills, I read books to analyze the plots, writing and all that.
Need to remind self that reading is fun.
With that, I need a good book first. Unlike my last book, The Picture of Dorian Gray - which, don't get me wrong, is a masterpiece but it is so... depressing, long drawn out and Dorian isn't exactly likable.
So, which genre should it be? A historical romance, thriller, action-adventure or chic lit? Maybe a lil autobiography number? If I have my pick with the shield from judgement, a historical thriller may be on the cards. However, the steamy book covers are giving me second thoughts, especially with my mom's disapproving eye. Hypocritically, since she also reads this types but she won't admit it in a million years. Even though I am her legally twenty one year old daughter who understands. I don't get mothers sometimes.
Before I finish up this post, let me add a movie poster of a must watch. Read what's it about here < CAUTION! CONTAINS SPOILER!

It appears to a charming film by the looks of the trailer, with rave reviews from IMDB confirming my suspicions. Doesn't hurt that it all takes place in Paris... Oo la la~
