It is not funny. I'm sitting over here, clicking through H&M.com and I want it all! It's not fair that Singapore has an outlet and here in KL we don't have one. I still remember to back when I was working at Pavilion and there were genuine excitement over a mere rumor that H&M was going to open a flagship store at the then-still under construction Fahrenheit 88 mall. If the H&M need any indication that they could get good sales here, that's one right there!
Right now, I'm counting down the days till it's semester break! The assignments and exams and assessments kept piling up, just when you'd think you'll get a break. Check out my list of assignments right now, I have approximately:
3 essays + ??
1 powerpoint presentation (refinement on its data)
2 different theme for photography with 3 photos needed to be submitted
1 research for 10 sample pictures with explanation on our opinion on how the design of the product pictured is influenced by a certain art movement
1 poster
1 'magazine' of 16 pages
4 exercises on photoshop
1 movie poster on photoshop
1 box with its layout on an A4 paper
= 16 assignments
Woopie deedoo! And I've always thought that college was the vacation before we head out to be a lifetime slaves to the economy and a means to survive. Looks like all the stories that my mom told me of her fun-filled university days were all nothing.
The problem with the assignments is not the amount (although it is clearly not helping) but the amount of time. The lecturers are always saying that my class are lax on the deadlines so it gives me the impression that my seniors never ever sleep and/or choose to kill their social life to focus on their assignments.
Alright, I'll let it rest. I know how tiring it can be to hear people complaining. All that negative energy. There are worse problems in the world that people complained about than the number of assignments they're getting. I should be thankful I'm in college at all while there are people with no chance of pursuing a higher education.
Oh, I should be so thankful :/
ps Feeling so much better now. Just need an outlet to vent out my frustrations. Hmmm....
