Finally gotten my hands on Avril Lavigne's 4th album, Goodbye Lullaby. I've been hawking for it and despite relatively no promotion on her album in Malaysia, airplays of What the Hell not included, the albums were all sold out! It took me a trip to Atria where I finally found it. A smile was plastered on my face the entire time! Take a look at my (atm) complete collection of Avril's albums XD
Still, I am not so sure if I would want to buy the other two versions of the CD. I am still a fan of Avril though not as obsessed as during my high school years where every time an album came out, not matter if it is just the special edition, I have to get my hands on it. Which is why when you look at the picture above, it's not your eyes fooling ya, there is a set of two of each of the same CDs.
Thus far, the lyrics of the songs on this album, like my basketball freak bro pointed out, are cliche and poorly written. I've heard that this is because Avril wanted to focus on her vocal skills as well as the tune of the song, which she totally nailed. But then again, I have always hated every single song of Avril's at the beginning before the tunes eventually start to slowly grow on me. Then it will get to a phrase where I just have to hear it every single day on repeat. It's always the same cycle, over and over and over again.

I was blissfully asleep at 11 am when I received a sms from Vien, wanting to know whether I was up for an impromptu lunch with her and Lava. Well, I wanna have another 4 hour lunch again; it was lots of fun!
fyi Foodie photos are courtesy of Vien.

After lunch, we came across a Smart Car with the prettiest lust worthy lashes. What in the world? Anyway, we walked by that same car a few times but Vien got one good look at it and the camera was obligatorily brought out.
a closer look.

We decided to take a walk around the area and check out this renovated terrace house turned shop-lot. The shop is rather mysterious, from afar, we wouldn't know what the shop is catering to and being curious with an opportunity, we went and found this!
It is two separate stores, one that sells polaroid and lomo cameras alongside with an artsy crafts store by a couple who are illustrators by profession, selling from bags to super cool sketch books and soft toys. We were in there for at least an hour.

Hello Kitty CD! So adorable!
ps Will be posting Catherine's fashion competition photos at the next post. Too tired.
