I like the colour
pink.
There! I said it! You will never hear me say it again.
I can just hear what some of you will be thinking/saying: What's the big deal? Well, just that anyone who is close to me will tell you that I am anti pink. Ask what my favourite colour is and without skipping a beat, I'll say black. People will believe me because back when I was thirteen till fourteen years old, my entire wardrobe scheme colour is black. It was rare to see me in any other colour.
But the truth is, pink is my number one favourite colour. Black is only number two.
And Lingie, it is not the time to tell me 'I told you so' after pointing out that my pillow, bed, curtains (which cause my room to have a pink hue in the morning and afternoon when the curtains are still drawn), bag, Nike shoe (both are gifts from an ex) lingerie etc etc etc are all in pink and me denying it.
although... this would be a bit too much...
*not my room, just fyiThe trigger for this realization/ outburst was when I was lingerie-shopping at La Senza the other day with *him* who I made come in with me and whose face colour resembled that of a fire engine and I swear to God, looked like he didn't breathe and refused to look anywhere but the floor for the entire half hour we were in there. God, I love to torture *him*. *cue evil laugh* Mwahwahuahaha.
Ahem.
Anyway, I was at the counter for my purchase transaction when I noticed that 3 out of my 5 lingerie pieces were pink. In panic, I decided to put the three offenders back but in the end, could only replace one with another colour. I just couldn't bare to chuck the other two pinks in the end. They were too pretty.
That is when I can't deny it no longer no matter how much I wanted to.
Ahhh... that's better. Thank you for enduring my hissy fit. Self-acceptance can be a nerve-recking experience sometimes.
Oh, and Selamat Hari Raya to all Muslims and non-Muslims. Dates and days are completely lost to me ever since I finished high school.
