I just found out that Chanel is going to increase their prices by another 20%. A regular Chanel can cost you RM5K, minimum. So add a 20% increase, argh, I'll let you do the math. (Not one of my strengths, calculating numbers)

"We don't want Chanel to become like Louis Vuitton. They are taking more of an Hermés approach, where it can take three years to get the bag you like. We want Chanel to stay a luxe item, and not be Main Street."

All I can say is, Ouch.

Not that us mere mortals can afford it without blowing our annual income off anyway.

On another note, my classmates recently headed to Petronaus Gallery to check out the Words+Pictures=Book: Contemporary Malaysian Picture Book Illustration Exhibition. Turns out that my lecturer, Mr Khairul Azmir Shoib, is one of Malaysia's Most Distinguished Illustrators. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to take any pictures (Boo~) but I managed to stumble upon my lecturer's blog (a fact passed on by one of my seniors), which you can check it out here. His drawings and paintings reminds me of a Tim Burton movie. Really cool. I like it.


Anyway, I gotta go. Still have a couple of assignments to clear up while missing my sis who is coming back from Pahang.




PS: Did I mention that Bleach 414 is awesome?! Didn't see that coming! Thank you Tite Kubo for reviving excitement into Bleach again.
