.Alright, so I left out a couple of updates from the previous post. Like how my friends and I went to a Shakespeare play at KLPAC which was really cool. Shame on me for not knowing it having ever existed at all. Boo on me.
To be honest, I had no idea what the actors were talking about at the first half hour even though I have read works by Jane Austen, Charles Dickens among a few although I don't think they count. But after that, slowly I began picking out the meanings of the extravagant Old English phrases and towards the end of the play, begin to appreciate it.
[ I am planning to attend another play or two, so, if anyone is interested, you know where to find me! ;) ]
Anyhow, the play is one of his most famous: A Midsummer Night's Dream with a simple stage and costumes (as oppose to the more elaborate types that one would expect. Instead: flip flops and a simple no-label tee) due to the fact that it was a workshop play. The play ran for a little over two hours with an intermission of ten-fifteen minutes in between.
